+3 for having good political views.Generally not a fan of Gillard but this is actually a very good piece of policy, can't think of the last time I approved so absolutely of a government reform.
True.No doubt there's a lot of bad news in the detail that they've neglected to mention.

Oh but that's not fair, Australians are battling to pay for their Iphone 4's and Flat Screen televisions. The devil in the detail is already emerging.
"They have INCREASED the bottom two tax rates from the 15 cent rate to 19 cents and the 30 cent rate to 33 cents."

so 'fuck yeah democracy' unless 'the people' disagree with you, right?Generally not a fan of Gillard but this is actually a very good piece of policy, can't think of the last time I approved so absolutely of a government reform.
Tax or cap n' trade, either way we need to do something, yet I would rather a tax, in Europe a cap n' trade policy has been implemented and fridge manufacturers are polluting more, yet storing these emissions, and by trading them they are making more money from that then making fridges. Also, why fight the failure of markets with more markets, sometimes demand and supply fail to accurately value goods and servicesIf you actually want to reduce emissions then an emissions trading scheme would trump a carbon tax.
People support a price on carbon and there is no specific model that has popular support. This one is much more popular than Tony Abbott's direct action plan.so 'fuck yeah democracy' unless 'the people' disagree with you, right?
principled my arse
