no it doesn't?

say you've prepared that essay throughout the year. The language used is different because you've had such a long time to prepare. Does that mean at least 1000 students in the state is getting someone else to write their essays for them?

I don't think so....

And it's better to memorise your essay. Just write a super essay on a general question and adapt different questions into the essay. This way you keep writing. Make sure you don't stop writing ... If you didn't know wtf you're writing or you get stuck when your making it up on the spot, then you've already let every other kid surpass you and they have a better chance of getting a better mark then you
But if a student is identifying things like Aphorism, Bathos and In medias res in their essay, and can't spot a simile in the comprehension, the teacher could rightly assume that somethings off.
.

A "good writer" doesn't fuck up comprehension that epically.

Yeah. no

If the students can't even identify 'simile', they don't have a chance of memorising the super essay written by their tutor.
You'd be really surprised at some of the crap students get away with through memorisation.

A "good writer" doesn't fuck up comprehension that epically.
A good writer doesn't. Extreme example, but a poor student with a memorised essay could.

Its not just essays, some people actually get their tutors to do their speeches. This Asian at my school who cant even speak English properly turned up with this frikin sophisticated essay and got an A, but the teachers cant do anything bcuz he could have uzed a thsaurus.

What the fuck? You need to also be able to articulate clearly in a speech to do well, not just read an essay.

I think the 'speech' he meant was the non-fluent english that these Asian students couldn't speak.

And what if they didn't get a tutor but still had lots of time to prepare for a super essay? It'll still be memorised... also the students might have been proactive enough to ask their teachers for corrections. It's not necessarily from a tutor if the students can't write for shit but writes a super essay.

That wouldn't be plagiarism would it.

ehh my tutor edited my speeches and my essays wherever she saw mistakes around with my wording, as well as strengthening my wording. She didn't write the whole thing... coz I wouldn't want her to do that

That article was freaky. I can't believe someone is getting paid to earn degrees for others when there are people starving and such in the world. Think of all the good that money could do elsewhere!
