What do I need to get in my assessments to get an atar of 96?

My school ranking is in the 190s
I do
Eng Adv
Chem
Maths
Math ext 1
phys
SOR
Economics

Because I put in my assessment scores in the atar calculator and I'm bloody sad it came up with a result in the mid 70s ... :( and I need an ATAR of 96 to get my course ...
Is it still achievable realistically? What scores will I need to get to get band 6s and also for band 5s?

I also feel like dropping phys for senior science since I got a 64 which was the average for senior science where I can get a 90 and if it scale down I will probably end up with a band 5 than a band 4 in physics.

U need 90+ in each to even get 96
SOR around 92-93, bio and maths over 90, everything else in high 80s.
Aim for this in your assessments.
If you don't get this, my friend said a raw mark of 82% in chem moderates to an HSC mark of 90 or something... and I don't know about the rest.

Ranks are the most important, Marks are hard to tell by due to the fact that your school could set hard exams or have a teacher that marks hard.

Eng Adv. 112/155
Eco 12/50
Maths 2u 18/110
Maths ext 18/60
Physics 20/50
Chem 18/80
SOR 15/50

Is it still possible to push my ranks to the top 10? Is that what I should be aiming for? :confused2:

Ideally, you want to be ranked first in everything. However, push you ranks up are far as you can. 96 will be a lot of hard work with those current ranks.

I don't know until we know your final rank. Work on that as much as possible. If your ranking 112 in English, that means no matter how hard you work, your internal mark will be the 112th external mark in your year. Even full marks on your external won't fix it if everyone else does terribly.

At the moment, you're looking at very low 90s. English Advance will screw you over big time unless you improve your marks.
Your other rankings aren't too bad at the moment, but aim for pushing that top 10 boundary in everything..

english well, try your best atm

If you're only getting 70's, I'd say maybe even lower than that.

perhaps, but that also depends on the difficulty of school assessments. I did think i was a little generous though, high 80s to touching 90~

ftr, my average for school assessments in a rank 180 school was 82~84 but i surpassed an atar of 98

so mid 70s isnt all that bad
