From what I heard in selective schools,


  • Students study at lunch.


  • Graffiti free toilets.


  • Free of noisy kids.


  • Nearly all students do 4 unit maths.

Spiralflex, I think you've kind of put selective schools on a pedestal that they really shouldn't be on :L
I go to syd girls and i can tell you right now that besides the last point being partially true, everything else is false for sydney boys lol

My goodness, one weeks of tutoring homework takes 100 pages. Back to our little discussion. I think I would benefit a bit more going to a selective school, but I honestly don't think it will make a significant difference.

So you don't start 4 unit until Year 12?

At my school last year the highest atar was like 97.8 which is pretty good for a school under 500
So i still have hope :]
