Hey,

As all you guys are aware half yearlies are approaching (for most of us) and throughout our holidays is the time to prepare.

I'm wondering what sacrifices you guys are gonna do to ensure you are studying effectively. I for example decided on turning my mobile off for most of the day and stop using facebook until exams are over.

I'm going to sacrifice a goat at the end of every month.

You will fail if you try and sacrifice anything cold turkey. I recommend rewarding yourself with whatever it is you intend to keep up after a few hours of hard work.

I only sacrificed a bit of Facebook time to study for half yearlies.
Apart from that I still did everything else; piano practice, sleep time, listening to music.
In fact, I slept better in exam times as opposed to normal school days (stupid morning periods make me drowsy and deteriorate my health =_=

You shouldn't sacrifice everything, and even then, you should be sacrificing very little, provided that it's actually wasting your time.

@ SpiralFlex: I suggest don't take all nighters or otherwise your performance will deteriorate over time.

I've done my half yearlies I just went on facebook less and took two nights off dancing for additional study.

i found that streaming my goat sacrifices only took up about 2 hours every month which was pretty good.

i forwent social networking except when streaming my videos.

it worked out fine. the gods were pleased.

Ah you silly boy. You should have spent your junior years increasing your flock. I literally had to stick my goats dick into my ewes but it definitely paid off.

I had a very large flock of about 40 goats. My flock size required me to traverse quite a bit over mountain ranges for rich pastures.

You are doing prelim, you still have time to increase your flock. It is a valuable investment.

I really did not use my junior years to my full advantage, I was always just procrastinating, I regret this.

But yes, I am still only doing my prelim, so hopefully by this time next year my flock has increased enough to start sacrificing goats for the HSC.
