Parking is impossible at any university, unless it's like UNE - that's why you beat it all and walk or take public transport right to the campus or closest location.

Worst case scenario, Rainbow St ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS (I can't stress this enough) has at least ONE available parking spot. It's a five minute walk, but you'll never be without a park.

Looking at Google Maps, Rainbow street is a long way from unsw, no way can you walk to unsw from there in 5 minutes.

How many times did it take everyone to pass their practical driving test?

Can to, and do to. Five minutes to get to Webster from Rainbow St.

True. But calculating the cost of a car with petrol and how much pollution it creates, not really benefiting at all. One human, one car is even polluting.
Don't think tommykins cares about pollution. ; )

went to usyd for a workshop once, took the bus.

some 20 something chick sat next to me and proceeded to loudly talk about her relationship problems for the next half hour or so. This type of shit happens often on public trasnport, I have the bad luck of always having the most annoying person on the bus sit next to me.

but parking is a bitch so can't drive

OMFG

Luckily I don't live on the 370 line, but the handful of times I've caught it there's always someone at the bus stop grumbling about how it's either late or never arrives. Either the line is full of annoying people, like that chick on your bus and the whingers I see, or the service is truly dreadful.
