valentines day is $$$ because everybody puts up the prices and subsequently make an absolute killing off poor blokes who will be slaughtered by their gfs if they don't find something meaningful to give them

on that note, i'm not exactly sure what me and my gf are going to do yet, but we might end up having a picnic somewhere nice .. awww arent i a nice bf

tbh you dont need to have some fairytale magical day.. valentines day is bullshit anyway

the only reason we're having a picnic is because we're celebrating seperate of actual significane

just hang out somewhere

why does 1 particular day NEED to be dedicated on fancy/loveydoveyness, why can't it be any other random day? or most if not all of the days couples hang out?

Last time a friend and I, and our then girlfriends, double dated on Valentines. We went into the main town, had pancake lunch in the plaza. Simple, but nice way to spend part of the day.
