Once again, avoiding the point. You know what, who gives a fuck about the wallis product?? I know I certainly dont , fairly sure it doesnt come up in electrical engineering anyway.

but, try to get back to the point you dumb afro punk, you come on this site fukin arrogant to begin with, thinking you are too good for a calculator , I tell you to pull your head out of your ass but you take it as an attack on your ego. After that I put up a tutoring ad , and you spam it with shit, you give me a probability question which I couldnt do ( and I actually admitted to getting it wrong ) then I find an older post of yours about solving simultaneous eqns, much more fundamental than probability. I use to support my point about 4unit students not knowing 2unit material and you are too arrogant to accept that fact.

You are the perfect image of a 4unit student. You cant do 2unit questions, and you are arrogant. You are pretty much the image of most 4unit students out there. Not all of them, but most of them .

Probability happens to be my favourite topic. So naturally I would give you a tough one.

But I don't see a proof of the wallis product?

im not playing your silly little games afro boy , I dont have to prove anything to you , you are just arrogant and stubborn because my statement about 4unit students was correct, so you try and change the subject.

I didnt even start you in this thread, you just came in here guns blazing because I said "They are going to put these kind of questions in the exam to catch out 4units that are not good at 2unit material". Its quite obvious they should have had more 2unit material in the 3unit and 4unit papers, you know man maybe something like solving two simultaneous eqns in the 3unit exam XD.

If you knew the nature of the 3U exam then you'd know that they wouldn't put that in.

Can I ask why? It's my most hated topic, I find it annoying and...just plane crap. Not saying you're wrong, just interested in your opinion.

1.Solve the two equations to get P and Q (well of course I have to do this)
2. Find the dy/dx of the parabola, sub in the x-coordinates of P and Q.
3. Use these gradients to derive the equations of the tangents at P and Q.
4.Then solve these two equations to find the intersection point.
You only have write down the derivation for tangent of P. For Q, just say "Similarly, the tangent at Q is...", and just write down equation of tangent for Q (mere substitution of parameters). This is because you have already demonstrated that you can derive the tangent equation of P, so no need to repeat it.

Because it's logical and interesting. And plus all the questions are pretty much the same.

Series applications (Loan repayments etc) is also one of my favourites in the HSC course. Too bad it's hardly ever asked in 3U and never asked in 4U...

You and I have differing opinions on what is interesting then! I also dislike Series greatly haha :p To each their own though.

I don't mind 3U parametrics. All the questions are pretty much the same. But I hate the 4U conics questions involving lengths of algebra. I can still do it but it's not my favourite topic. Thankfully it's hardly existent in university.

I also like mechanics in 4U. Pretty interesting topic.

Pretty much. Also consider a circle which has an eccentricity of zero.
