So it looks like I'll be going to be doing com/sci at unsw next year.

I was just wondering if the distance between buildings should be taken into account when you have consecutive tutorials or lectures. And if this is the case, then how will we know if our lectures are located reasonably close to eachother. I've never actually attended open days or info days, so i have no idea how far the buildings are.

Anyways so i've attached a copy of my timetable below and would appreciate any advice on it. So if its not like humanly possible to follow this timetable because of the distance between the buildings then please let me know

Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

LOL monday:
Red centre (Lower campus) -> Matthews (Upper Campus) -> Keith Burrows (Lower campus) = good exercise

But like braintic said, they start around 5 past and finish at 5 to.

TIP: Find out where your rooms are BEFORE the first lecture... Rex Vowels is pretty hard to locate if you havent been there.

yep, don't worry about traveling between, most people dont have too many gaps in their timetable. Your timetable looks decent, the consecutive classes are not too far away from each other from what I can see.

Lectures start late and finish early (by about 5mins) at most uni's. More than enough travelling time.

About 5 minutes walking distance between most of those. Rex Vowels is behind the electrical engineering building, towards the Quad.

Take a bike with you on campus in case you need to travel between upper and lower campus, which in your case you do.

This is the first time I've ever heard of Rex Vowels haha. As others have said, monday is your worst day for closeness, but it isn't really that time consuming.

Which reminds me.. I might need to start up my off-season stair climbing routine

heyy, im doing comm/sci as well
we basically have the same timetable
except my MATH1151 tutorial 2 is on monday frm 12-1
and ECON1101 tutorial is on tuesday 1-2
and ACCT1501 tutorial is on wednesday between the 2 lectures
i kind of planned this out
soo that friday and monday can be maths days so you can get 4 days straight of maths study (including weekend)
and tues/wed/thurs can be used to study econ/acct since they are probz easier than maths
also my timetable leaves 1 math1081 lecture on thursday which im thinkin i shud just take off since there is no point in going because i live far from the uni
but all in all a good timetable

You could catch the bus on high street if you're super lazy.
