yep I definitely feel the need to contribute to general discussion threads such as this with their broad array of topics, as well as the fact that there is some benefit to be had for some at least, in partaking in such broad discussions which give me the chance to talk about how I really feel and be brutally honesty with myself. And if anything else it does re-emphasise the point that there's far more to life than just study and work.

Call me naive I can honestly say that I'm looking forward to the prospect of meeting someone special at Uni it so much that it makes me giddy Coming from a guy school I've been a bit behind and made less progress in becoming acquainted with people of the opposite gender, unlike alot of my peers. So although I admit high school wasn't exactly the most memorable time of my life (nor the event that capped off six yrs of high school, the formal) I'm still looking forward Of course I have to be highly optimistic as it's all about writing a new chapter and turning over a new leaf in my life

I've been watching too much 500 Days of Summer, I recognised the eyes... so I cheated =P

And I think there'll be girls to go around at university. I don't think most guys will have problems finding girls to... do such things to so they don't have to use things like a Fleshlight. They'll just have their standards go through the floor though.

I LOVE 500 Days of Summer, its one of my all time favourite movies.

I don't think standards need to be dropped, unless guys standards truely are superficial. If guys are after a nice girl, then a nice girl is going to talk to anyone, and befriend anyone. Yet if its just the one night stands that are being to heavily persued... you might have a harder time. Or not, depending on how intoxicated the girl is.

There are nice guys around. It's just that they are the super shy ones - and the cocky arrogant ones are usually the non-nice ones who just want to get into a girl's pant(ie)s. Or however you spell it...


And yes, 500 Days of Summer is awesome. I wished I watched it before I actually did though - it would've gone awesomely with my EX2 story. Epic quotes such as: "It was nice..." "Can you believe that shit?!" *awesome face*
