Hi again

I'm in y12 now and my school has no extra curricular activities whatsoever :vcross:
So I was wondering if you guys know of any type of extra curricular activities I could do outside of school, preferably these holidays.
Thanks

But would that be enough to fulfill the requirement of certain scholorships which demand leadership roles etc

It definitely will. Volunteer for your local hospital, salvos and etc. No better way to demonstrate leadership!

Do some drugs, have sex and you'll be set.

Most scholarships are extremely competitive, and that would likely not suffice.

Get into sporting teams, donate blood, go to RSPCA and volunteer, get into a debating team... there are so many things.

I dont have time for a sports team :(
As I said my school does not have anything, that means a debating team aswell.
What is the minimum age for donating blood?

I can still manage to fit in sport into my week. And seriously, I have never heard of a school that doesn't offer debating.

They do exist. What it does mean though is that its gives OP the perfect reason to start one. Or any club for that matter.

Have you tried organising a social justice group or something? I know that Oxfam and Amnesty and World Vision are more than willing to email you stuff if you say you're interested in starting up a club at your school. Even if you start it and you only get a couple of members... I'm sure you can exaggerate it's importance for scholarship purposes ;)

Scholarships ARE so competitive though, and if you're already in year 12 and you haven't done anything so far... Your chances don't look great. Depends what university you're aiming for though.
