Why cant we do the maths advanced HSC exam if were doing extension 2 math? (1 Viewer)

you can if u accelerate 2 unit ( ie do the exam in yr11)

but the 4 unit and 2 unit exams run at the same time during hsc period

although u did the 2U exam in year 11, if ur result on 4U was better than 2U, 2U result will be automatically be cancelled, regardless whether 2U was one of ur best 10 units.

I'm not sure that 2U can ever count if you do 4u...

it will count if ur 2U mark is better than 4U. (if u accelerated 2U in year 11)

I am almost 100% positive that Maths Advanced never counted if you take the MX2 course

2 unit is never counted.
only 4 unit and 3 unit
4 unit becomes 2 units
3 unit becomes 2 units

which is good, because if you're pro at maths.. you double the effects of super scaling from 3 unit + 4 unit.
also, the exams are on the same time. and most 4 unit students prob won't study for the 2 unit exams if there was one
