My boyfriend is like four and a half years older than me, and no its no problem with my parents, as they know him, he's a really good guy :) we only usually see eachother twice a week, but sometimes when were working together at our job...which isn't often as were in other departments, we don't just run off and makeout thats just low. If your gonna take the piss out of my comment, I honestly don't care what your opinions are, he's my boyfriend not yours

Four and a half years older?

Yeah. Weird, mostly since you're still in school.

True, but he was young for his grade at school, he left in 2004 but If he was in the correct year group he would have been class of 2005. Plus I like my boyfriend's a fair few older years older than me. Never really dated a guy who was like a year or and a half older. When I was 13 turning 14, I dated a 16 turning 17 year old for about 8 months.

Yeah and that's weird.

Speaking as a representative of the class of 05. We're adults now, we should have stopped dating high school students a number of years ago.

Haha girls that age like to think that they're mature. So I suppose the relationship works for everyone.

Still weird but.

22 year olds are very different to 18 year olds. Completely different place in life, different goals.

I am nearly 18 (on monday) and my partner just recently turned 23, so It really isn't that big of a deal, and yes I am mature for my age, sure I have my moments where I'll giggle and act immature. But If your going to criticise me I know somebody who dated a 24 year old from when she was 15 and they have just recently taken a "Pause" on there relationship.
