I'm writing some blog entries for Gamespot AU so if you've got some free time on your hands, give what I thought of the Microsoft Press Conference at E3 2010 a read.

Black Ops look alright... might be abit of action but same thing as MW2...

Don't see why people are hyped over Black Ops...
It's made by Treyarch.
And I belive its optimised for consoles?
Also, The only reason I would buy it is for the stealthy gameplay.

new xbox makes me want to "accidentally" find a "defect" with my current one before the extended warranty runs out. also the project natural starwars thing looks awesome, just a shame it didnt show somebody playing it but im not sure if i would actually pay the estimated $200 for it then the games

Forza Kinect I'm a bit apprehensive about. People'll look like total loons holding an imaginary wheel...........

Skyward Sword-hope it provides something different than same old Zelda, but then again, it would still be good even if it didn't. Potential game of the year next year imo, but Xbox seems to have a great line-up as well. Just havbew to wait and see what sony is gonna give.

Yea, but I don't see why you cannot hold a 'toyish' wheel and for it to still work. (Would still look stupid I know). Similarly with Starwars kinect game, I want to be able to hold a lightsaber while playing xD.

dude, that's because infinity ward have essentially collapsed from a mass walkout. Zampella and other guy (i think it's West) have reformed Respawn with a partnership with EA after abandoning Activision. A lot of the other old infinity ward staff have gone to respawn as well

ugh

Kinect looks like the worst. Until full virtual reality is made, ie: you run everywhere + move around and do whatever and shit, it shouldn't be released. They always provide a hyped up and limited experience that gets boring after 30 minutes of play. Controllers are the only way to do it at this stage, imo.
