Mate u need to get into uni first, after you're in, even if you get 60's it's a credit, or atleast a pass and you still get that degree... where as here you need to get into uni.Anyone that goes to uni can say the same to you, mang.
Everyone says that, except for some first years, they hate uni.uni is slightly different though. Unless you aim for like honours and stuff, its a more bludgy life than hsc year. Many people I know say uni was the best final years of their study life.
