I just need help solving for x in this equation. Can someone please help me because i've come up with 2 different answers.

50=((x*1.35)/(0.7))+10+(x/(2.14))-(7/(0.7))

Brackets dont make sense, could u try fix them up please.

Those 2 brackets in bold, They are closing brackets with no opening.

how could you possible come up with 2 different answers? unless there is an x^2
the 10 and 7/0.7 cancels out and the rest is just simple carrying, factorising and simplifying.

let's just say my maths is very rusty, i'm just working through some old tut's to get it back to where it was.

i know the two 10 values cancel out, just need someone to show me that i did the carrying over correctly.

multiplying both sides by 0.7 and 2.14 gives

74.9 = 1.35x + 1.498x
74.9 = x (1.35 + 1.498)
x = 74.9 / (1.35 + 1.498)

that's what i got on the online calculator/solver. But as you can see everyone is coming up with different answers.....
