If it's a long term relationship, then surely it means the two people involved are heading for marriage anyway? hmm if it were me, i'd just wait out the extra year or so, [i mean if you've survived this long without doing it -presumably] and then well the marriage should survive if you had a longterm relationship before it shouldn't it ?

Yea long term relationships are pretty much the same as marriage [if 'long' is like ...4yrs minimum imo]. I just don't want to leave room for regret later, that's all.

but it doesnt work like that. more factors than just the critera of being in a long term relationship applies to marriage, financial stability for example. its not like you would turn to your partner and go "oh, it's been 5 years, we may as well get married now"


i just think that if you have been together that long its not really going to make a difference when you are having sex whether you are married or not. you havent really argued that properly

there was a trend in america when girls weren't wearing undies at school dances
the kids would crowd around each other with mobile phones to block the teachers from seeing them have sex
if you're gonna do it at least don't be stupid enough to leave condoms on the floor.

why plan an age to lose your virginity by?

if you're in a relationship, and it feels right to you, and you're mature enough to handle the aftermath, then do it.

obviously sex in these circumstances shouldn't be condoned at an early age, like 13. because most 13 year olds have no idea what they want, or what they're deciding.

everyone is entitled to their values, as long as they don't try to force them on others. we are in our rights to voice these values, but keep judgements and disrespectful comments of opposing values or ideas a person may deem invalid, left unsaid.

They are only 97% effective. There is still a chance of pregnancy with a condom and the pill. It's small but not worth it imo, there's heaps of other stuff to do.
