So i've skimmed through the tutes and now i want to do the quiz. The problem is i can't log in.

It keeps on saying "An error occurred while the system was processing this login request." Despite me being able to log in with the same details for my Zmail and MyUNSW.

If i put in an incorrect password on purpose it rightfully says "Could not log in. Valid authentication credentials were not provided." which leads me to think the system is working fine.

Here's the blackboard log in page: https://lms-blackboard.telt.unsw.edu.au/webapps/login/

Also, the Identity Manager seems to never load no matter what browser i use: https://idm.unsw.edu.au/idm/user/login.jsp

So my question is this, is it only me that Blackboard and Identity Manager are locking out or is this a uni wide problem?

Exact thing happened to me but I figured it out:
1. Click the "identity manager" link
2. Change your password which is the same as the username as a default I'd assume.
3. Once you've successfully changed your password answer the 5 questions you can choose down the bottom of the page.
4. Save changes
5. Log out
6. Log in using the zXXXXXXX and your new password for the Blackboard.

(when you change your password in identity manager that password is only used for the blackboard)

Are you using your Zpass or UniPass to log into Blackboard. Blackboard requires a ZPass; which you might need to create a new one.

Both these websites work for me fine.

In my opinion, it's either a problem with your login/unipass/zpass, or an issue with your computer or settings.

Have you tried clearing your browser cache and attempting to log in again?

What about trying to log in to Blackboard or accessing IDM on a different computer? Because if you can log into Blackboard from another computer, you can rule out the possibility that there might be a problem with your login. But if you still can't log in from another computer, it would indicate a problem with your login details.

Oh i see.

Hmmm, it seems that both myUNSW and Zmail my unipass as the password so perhaps i just need to get my Zpass.

But the Identity Manager website is taken forever to load, even if i use this link: https://idm.unsw.edu.au/idm/user/index.html :(

@ Ethanescence: I'll try getting into Identity Manager on one of my other computers :)

EDIT: It didn't work because my OS was Windows 7.
