Aww Kaatie, I take it that's a no for medicine for you then?

Well guys, I'm going to call up the uni tomorrow just to make sure I've got my information straight, but I think Biomed is the only degree from the Health faculty which doesn't require the Vaccination or Criminal record check forms.

ohhh well thats cool then! i just feel sorry for the other biomed students because everyone assumes theyve failed med (like me :() when some dont want to do it at all. after hearing that some graduates of biomed now work for the national heart foundation and the cancer council i might not even try again this year. Ill see how the year goes :)

You can always just finish the degree and the apply for a graduate medical program.

Hey, you haven't failed! You got an interview, which is a MASSIVE achievement!

Just because they didn't accept you this year, doesn't mean you've failed. It just means if you go for it again, you'll be even more prepared, and have a whole year of university experience to back you up. I want to do medicine too, and tbh I don't think I'd be ready to do it this year.

Either way, Biomed '10 is going to be radddd!!

Lol, looking forward to meeting everyone, either at O-week or first week back =)

PLUS - just called, enquiries centre was particularly unhelpful, and the criminal records check lady is at lunch... =|

hmmm... just for my liking, 128 biomed students is a few too many for me. There will be pple everwhere.

Im gonna ring the uni too today and ask them if the CHEM1010 tutorial is compulsory for registration.

Thats why i didnt bother putting med as a preference; cos i didnt feel ready. I dont know if i ever will.

Head of school said there were 99 confirmed biomed students as of last week.

since when is this thread about biomed? It is a thread about picking up hot chicks at O week.
La Bomba, you have much to learn.

Clearly, Biomed 2010 is synonymous with hot chicks. Thus, it is in your best interests to get to know us now before O-week, when we are swarmed by every other male on campus... 'cause we're pretty hektikk and all...

What internet browser do you use? I have a mac, and myHub was going all jumbled in Safari, but it worked fine in Firefox.

(as in what part of the site)
When you log onto myHub, there's a link on the right hand side of the screen that says "online registration", you just go into that and it'll tell you when registrations open.
