I always feel a bit sick and nauseous on flights. :cold:

The food doesn't make it any better so I pretty much skip all meals on the flight :(

But when I look around everyone else is rather happily eating. :apig:

Anyone else like me?

Meh, I'm not fussy. If I'm hungry, I'll eat whatever they serve up.

I dont mind it it is better than hospital food. Remember they have to fit 500 people's meals onto a tube flying through the air at 800 km/h, cut them some slack.

All the plane food I've had has been nice (Royal Brunei + Qantas), I shouldn't of been on those planes, but a Jetstar instead (which was cancelled so they had to get us back to Sydney via those airlines, and the Jetstar didn't come with any food included with the ticket), so I can't complain.
The muffins Qantas had were really yummie :)

This is an interesting site to look through AirlineMeals.net

Qantas, Vietnam, Malaysian, United and Singapore all have nice food. Those are the only airlines I've flown upon, and they all have nice food - so yeah, the food is pretty nice.

It's because you're going on the crummy airlines and are most likely going on economy.

Research a bit to see which airlines are highly rated and go on them or pay more for your fare to get better food :)

I hate aeroplane food, eat at the terminal and then wait till you arrive, not much fun travelling to London or something like that

I hate plane breakfasts - I cant stand UHT milk/oven cooked eggs (no stoves on planes)

But the lunch/dinner on Qantas economy is pretty good tbh - usually a curry with rice/meat with vegetables + chocolate, salad and ice cream

I'd even say it was on par/better than BA business food in terms of quality (obviously there's less)

The food on Air China is revolting however

Also, it depends where you're flying from... the catering in Sydney is good but in other ports (e.g. Singapore) it can be pretty shit

This for me. I can't stand plane breakfasts, I usually skip or just eat fruit or something instead. The combination of flying, hot fatty food and early morning is too much for me, I guess. But I'm fine with the rest of the food, mostly.

I eat the cake and the fruit. I also drink the juice that comes in the sealed cup. The rest of the food can go to hell.

Jesus Christ guys! You go on an plane to get from A to B, hence transport. If you want good food, go to a restaurant, not a plane.
