No the the ones for the 6pp tickets which we use for Produce here. The little Velcro tabs kept falling off, very annoying.
Oh God, we have those! Total pain in the arse... when you want them to stay on, they fall off. When you try to pull them off, the velcro is almost glued together!

I'm pretty sure we're not even doing them for meat or deli now either. And all h/brand and wow select pouches are now also out the window. This should be for all stores.
We still use the pouches, because the SM doesn't want us to reprint those tickets every week or so when they get damaged (this is for HB and WOW Select breads)... so they're in the pouches. Before the price changes happened, we'd had the same tickets for around 6 months or something, lol.

In deli they use the 9 p/p size pouches in the fridge, and reuse them. Our SM has a real thing about not having non-pouched ticketing in fridges/freezers as they tend to curl etc.

this is where woolies is going wrong. In meat department, if not laminated, the tickets droop. I'm gonna keep laminating them because I have not been told otherwise.

Droop/curl, yeah.
Thus my store's non laminating reusing of landscape/small pouches and plastic sleeves.

What was the problem with the gift card? If it won't swipe, you need to do a manual authorization using the GFS Merchant Support IVR.

Alternatively, you could issue a replacement card through the Giftcard Management website. Your CSM or SSM should be able to tell you how to do both of these.
It had been bought through a bulk gift card transaction, and when we checked it in Giftcard Management it said it had not been activated. But the receipt that the guy bought back said it was (like all the numbers matched up).

I tried all of that, but none of it worked. Showed my SSM today and he laughed, asked me what I thought he could do about it. 2IC didn't know how to fix it, so its still on the service desk. CSM can deal with it tomorrow.

Also, those hard plastic sleeves fall off all the time. Extremely annoying! Laminating FTW

bulk cards require 24 hours for activation? that's possibly it.

Sounds like an issue for your Regional Finance Specialist to follow up. Haven't heard of that problem occurring before

Woops forgot you're from Region 1. Speak to Kim Meek - she's our RFS now that Michelle Totten has moved into SSS.

OK i was gunna say the 24/48 hr activation thing but yeah appaz not.

Once a customer like full on scratched off the pin scratchy thing but it didn't work and i rang Gift Card and they said it had been used in August?? Random. I actually hate it so much when they go wrong, they're so annoying.

omg i swear every customer had a complaint yesterday! I had one lady complain that the price reduction arrow signs hanging from the roof were blocking her view of the aisle numbers and for me to tell the grocery manager to remove them, cuz did I know how hard it was not knowing what aisle she was in.......riiiiiiight :shoot:

It also would have been helpful if we actually had some guns that work. When i arrived at 5 to do stocktake, there were no working guns left! you would think that being such a bog store that we would at least have enough

I reckon at my store that the arrows will be blocking the security cameras' line of sight at the opposite end of the aisle to where they are mounted...they're hung at about the same level.

hey guys just a quick question. Our store has rolled out profect pheonix so im working as an SSA however im doing the systems operators releif. so allthough im doing ONLY systems and other ssa's and the sso dont do systems stuff im only getting paid grade level 2 i was told it was because of project pheonix (the fact that im an SSA technically). but in this new EBA (same as the last) Systems operator is still there at grade 3 . and cash office clerk at grade 2 . so im getting paid as a cash office clerk even though im doing systems!
Should i be getting paid grade level 3?????

A workstation doesn't have to have all those programs you mentioned - The systems and bosses workstation (at my store) doesn't have People planner, I know this for a fact.
i thought about this, but all of ours have all the same programs

Managers office computers do not have StoreLine, due to licensing restrictions. Apparently these machines are 'primarily deployed for using the CoreComms application'

No such thing anymore :( there are State Financial Services Specialists though now, but they're only for escalation issues afaik (i.e. everything should got through SSS first)
