that was EASILY one of the best concerts i have ever been to. i had tears rolling down my face for emily, that was just so magical

did you know it was her bday? i did not know it was her bday! how nice of her to work on her bday! i loled when everyone sang happy bday because it sounded so in tune. then when they played it gawwwd, the minor swing drop was just badass as if she was going to die on her bday. oh and did you get a glimpse at the cake? i didn't see it, did they just leave it behind the harp?


the lighting effects were amazing, especially when they did the horizon landscape on the curtains.

great show, i was not expecting it to be this great. special guest i didn't like though, i'm not into fingerstyle, felt tedious. i was reading the rest of mx in the dark while he was playing. i thought you said Lekman was going to be a special guest?

i don't know if you saw this but i saw some guy wearing a big light green frock, didn't realise it was a man until i saw his legs.


anyway you're probably asleep and i am probably very drunk and incoherent so bye!

p.s. once again i am pissed that she did not play sprout and the bean

i want to go to this jens/joanna newsom show in thirroul more than anything, but fucked if i know where it is or how to get there, and i don't think finishing work at 5 would give me enough time to get organised, really...if i missed jens i would be gutted, since he's like the only reason i'd go that far anyway.

i think i should just move to melbourne and stalk jens hardcore instead.

come to thirroul! i live there! it's not very hard to get to. it's about 1 1/2 hr drive from the city, about 40mins south of sutherland.

lol at the thought of me in a dress. i was wearing a dark blue buttoned shirt with these threaded tiny dots, black slim straights, grey tweed blazer, mahogany pointy leather shoes and i had slightly messy curly hair. i was probably in the lobby before the show for about 5 minutes or something.

what were you wearing? i saw someone and i had a slight inkling that that was you but it was based on nothing.

lol at the guy next to you. the couple next to me weren't that bad, most of the time her bf was just shampooing her hair. lol when Joanna came out for her encore someone in front of me gave her a standing ovation, she was probably the only one in our seating area so then her friend gets up like 5 minutes later for solidarity purposes.

I was wearing a cream coloured 3/4 sleeve dress with apricot printed holly esque leaves all over it. I had a black blazer, belt and black stockings with a back seam on with it and I was wearing black ankle lace up boots. I have dark brown hair that was out and sits just above my shoulders.
