Woah man. Don't go overboard over the S.C. Please tell me you are not making notes for year 9 seeing as how only year 10 work is in the SC for History and Geography.

koolkid - if you turn up to class, and pay attention to your teachers - you will most likely get Band 6. You will be fine.

+2

Nearly every geography lesson involved listening to ipods and talking. No one even glanced at a textbook unless we had some strict sub. In the end Geography was the highest subject to receive band 6s in the grade. A TOTAL OF 8. LMAOOO. Yes that's my school for you. Out of 160 people there were 8+7+5+5+2=27 band 6s. D:

is it okay to have sum reference books like some of the excel study guides?
No. Don't use excel or any other random non-school textbook for junior school. It's a waste of money when you could just be using your school history/geo exercise books to study things out of, or your friends' if you were too lazy to do your hwk/take down notes etc

If you already have them, I don't know because I haven't seen them. If you don't, don't bother getting them. For me, textbook did fine for History. Geo - just my schoolbook. You know, your school resources aren't for nothing...

Well guess what, so does everyone else. Yours doesn't actually count towards anything major.

"Revise in a month" sucks. What do you do? Calm down and just have a nice holiday before school starts.
