first of all, congratulations on the outstanding marks guys :hammer:

takes me back one year ago when i was eagerly anticipating my marks :D

[everything band 6, except a fail 79 in english... t'was horrible year in english for me] Nonetheless, i've improved tremendously in English.. no joke, i spend no less than 15 hours on a 1000 word essay.. that's just me. Oh where was i, oh yes. :cake:

It's terribly cliched now, but just remember that if you weren't happy with your marks don't worry.

The hard stuff has only just begun...

Congratulations to everyone! We have finally passed a milestone that is the School Certificate and moved on to bigger things.
Hehehe, a milestone? More like a speedhump - It's annoying and it slows you down from getting where you want to be.

Actually t00l it could be quite the opposite. Many people including me didn't study at all/properly for the school certificate yet achieved quite good results, if we are too get serious next year and for the HSC by studying a few hours everyday, getting a tutor, paying more attention in class etc. then its almost certain our results then will be far better then they were now.

SC is no indicator HSC. Also you forget about SC after one term of Year 11. I see some good results by BoSers, i wonder the aligning difference between this year and last year.

HSC and SC 2009 were very different too the previous ones due to new staff at the board of studies or something. The difference wasn't much with the SC, but the computing skills questions were very different to the previous questions. We had quite a few questions about social networking, internet etiquette and some other stuff.

I agree, but there are a lot people who will continue to be lazy and so die during the HSC while others work their arses off and go really well. So basically the SC is not a good indicator at all XD

i remember my sc cohort was apparently the 'worst cohort ever'; band 4s everywhere lol.

we will shortly see if there is any correlation between sc and hsc on the 16th if my cohort is once again the 'worst cohort ever' haha.
