Don't know why we don't have maths back when they would be so much quicker to mark!
Agreed. The school of Maths and Stats is usually one of the earliest to release results. For some reason they're taking their sweet time this semester.

does anyone know how long it ussually takes to update marks that have been put up incorrectly, my lecturer said she sent the new marks to student admin and that thay would be changed accordingly but that was like 5 days ago, maybe im just being impatient but surely it doesnt take that long to fix someones mark?

Knew you'd do it again. Congrats again!

+1. It's just like HSC times where everyone who posted on the UAI thread got 99+. My poor 96.95 was no match :(

i got bored with jay leno so i did some statistic hunting

10 people got a score of below 70 which im assuming (incorrectly i bet) is the median mark

i think i counted about 58 results that have been released so far

which means that apparently only like 16% of USyd students get a mark of below 70!

this site is not representative of the true USyd cohort!

Did your friend put in any effort at all? And where's the jaw drop emoticon when you need it? Your latest marks are rather impressive though  Hmmm, that just made me wonder...what's the lowest fail you've ever heard of?

he decided not to show up for the final exam, and i assume he's lying a bit because from what i remember, exams were worth about 70% of the final mark, implying that he aced the practical component which he certainly did not.

25 or thereabouts (probably lower) is therefore the failest fail i know of.

Well that would be coz we're on here talking about marks instead of partying or working or whatever normal kids do!

Got back my last two:
MATH 2965 Partial Differential Equations Intro Adv 73.0 Credit
MATH 2968 Algebra (Advanced) 72.0 Credit

Pretty disappointing, but I had a shit stuvac for various reasons. sometimes you wish it wasn't 70% on the final exam, but I didn't really have time to do more work during term!

if you qualify to graduate with merit or distinction, where does that appear?

should the transcript still read...

Final Result: Pass

What were you expecting for PDEs? I actually thought I'd done pretty well in the exam :(
