Congradulations!

I got a provisional offer too from Hursltone. Now have to go for an interview.

Anyone knows how difficult is the interview?

Congrats to you as well!
well iono about hurlstone but the fort street one was no biggy
here are some of the questions i was asked:
"Why did you choose other schools over Fort Street in your priority list?"
"What do you do out of school?"
"What cocurricular activities would you like to take part in?"
"Why are you weak in *subject* and what are you going to do about it?"
"How are you going to manage with the sudden difference in pressure and environment?"
cant remmeber more..if i do will post em
dont worry about it too much
just wear sumfin semi formal and stay confident

I would gladly go to ruse if i could, but i doubt i have any reasonable scope of making it. Especially coz they dont have any test for admission in year 11.
there is a test for ruse?

argh i'm so over this selective transfer. i'll stay a loser . :)

any selective high is good- all these ppl on here keep aiming too high >_>
its not the end of the world if you guys dun make it into baulko or ruse, they only take 150 anyways, so get ready for disappointment.. btw, if your in the top 30 for ANY selective, and top 10 for norm, theres no reason why you cant get a 99 or 98 ATAR, its possible, and with those ranks, likely

btw. im not good in english. quite bad.

im scared that if i move to the selective school.
my hsc will be ruin because of the english advanced.

i am sure if u r having problems with english u could always ask ur teacher to help you. Right now my grammar is really really bad but I am working hard to imrpove it. I usually write essays and stories then ask my teacher to read it to give me feed back. It really does help as I learnt some patterns to prevent making mistakes. Of course my grammar is still mediocre as you can read but its much better than before. So maybe that could also apply to you with your new school but good luck with whatever decision you make/made
