J.cole is back, Zhirkov should be fit, Malouda fit, strurridge is decent, Ivanovic is in good form.

I don't think it is a big as deal as people keep making out, it will be interesting to see though.

one correction to this...the 3RD name on your list doesnt count as a huge blow. Mikel will only ever get sub appearances as long as Essien is playin at the base of the diamond formation.

Seriously, how is Mikel going to compete with Essien, Ballack, Deco, Lampard, Belleti, Zhirkov, Joe Cole, (M. Woods, Matic..quite young) for any of the midfield positions?

you're right, mikel is a sub as long as essien is playing, but what happens if essien out and there is no mikel fill-in?

as Roy pointed out, chelsea are playing relatively easy teams during that period, but those are precisely the games you do not want to lose.
