WTF 27 c about the tickets why was it 4 marks didnt they have equal chance of winning anyway?
i'm not 100% about this. but... i thought they had equal chance too, but then i did a tree diagram and realised Mary had a 2/100 chance, where as Jane had 199/10000 chance. miniscule difference, but it'll cost you marks, unfortunately. and i established 199/10000 by 1/100x99/100x2 + 1/100x100 = 199/10000 anyone agree/disagree?

not sure i had mary at 1/50 and jane at P 1-(NO WIN) = 1-99/100 x 99/100 which had mary winning by 0.1%

also. the last question was in my opinion the hardest. i said juan was correct, because there were 8 differences between the theoretical probability and the first experiment, where as there were only 4 differences between the theoretically probable answer and experiment two... what did everyone else get, and what were your explanations?
