a series circuit contains only one route a current can flow through therefore is a appliance such as 2 lightbulbs connected in a series circuit,if one burns out the other other bulb won't shine because the circuit isn't complete.whereas a parrallel circuit doesn't have this flaw because in this types of circuit if one bulb burns out the current can take another route to complete the circuit, this is the reason why all homes are wired in a parrellel circuit and not a series.

parallel circuit-is when components or parts,in an electric circuit are paralle to each other.when globes are joined in paralel in the circuit, the current passes through the globes separately and independently and so they glow brightly.A disadvantage of a parallel circuit is that the globes run down the battery.

series circuit-is when components (or parts) of an electric circuit are joined in line so that the current passes along a single pathway.when globes are in series they glow dimly.this is because 2 globes produce a higher reisitance than 1 globe, allowing less current to flow.when batteries or dry cells are placed in series in an electric circuit, ther voltage or potential differernce (electrical push) is combined and more current can flow.a lampo can glow more brightly in series than 1 battery.

aus-aid budget is 39.1 billion i think.

what is the area formulae for a trapezium?
it must be written as AusAID and it's only a pitiful 3 billion

Trapezium is h/2(a+b) where h is the height and a and b are the parallel sides.

i) 1500(1.06)^5 - 1500= Compound Interest
ii) First you find Simple Interest by 1500*5*0.07
Then compare and subtract.

wires: conductors through which the current flows
fuse: breaks the circuit during a short circuit or malfunction
battery: provides the flow of current/volts

althogh this thread is pretty much dead...
