But, at the same time, rank is more important. You only need to do so much in school to keep you at the top - no more. Save it for after the trials.

But if you have the top mark, you'll have the top rank. :p
The school sends in the marks and you just get "ranked" in descending order.

Of the 99.9's and above, over 4/5ths are taken by the top 10 schools. There's generally about 10 or so left outside the top 20 schools. (i.e. we took 9/70ish 99.95 or above last year, ruse took probably about 20?)

I still had the Year 11 "ahaha whatever" mindset until after the December holidays.
