Thanks. No modifications, so the bikes you already suggested... wouldn't have that problem if they were in original condition?

Generally not. Racing modifications are generally done on top of the dealer specifications, not done during the manufacturing process (some bikes however are). It would be best to ask the dealer about this as well.

it is perfect for a learner
its a bit tall but only because i have made it that way cos im 183cm
i can drop it way down and a 160cm girl should be able to handle it easily.
50kg lighter than an equivalent roadbike
if you crash it, there isnt even anything to break.

If i can pass it, you can pass it.

They take you through everything, including how to change gears. Just make sure you get a decent bike. I failed the 2nd day because the clutch wouldnt work properly. Went back to do it again and watched the bike i was using, being used by another learner, fucking up on him.

The pre learner test will show you how to do that sort of stuff, basic checks on your motorcycle, starting motorcycle, prevention of stalling, changing gears, basic handling, emergency braking, probably some hazard avoidance.

My P1 licence expires today. Didn't realise the RTA closes at midday saturday. Won't be valid when I'm driving all day for work on Monday...

Anyone know what happens with an expired Ps licence? Hope I don't have to resit testing, and can go straight in and renew my expired licence.

This is my P's car licence, still hold my full motorcycle licence.

Sweet, I was afraid you knew something I didn't.

But nah, the rta website says on renewing that yeah, if your L's expire "the licensee must again pass knowledge and eyesight tests", but for P's it just says do whatever, fuck it.

Got the clutch boss back for my bike from the Machine shop today, need to put a helicoil in the hole. FZRs make awesome fighters, going to go down that route.
