Buying a Dell battery off Ebay (1 Viewer)

Hey world, i need to buy a battery for my inspirion 1501 dell laptop because it is dead. i called them up and they said that i have to pay $180 for a new 6-cell battery
i then went on to ebay and found a 9-cell battery with the same voltage number (11.1V) and it is the same size and everything... should i be worried that it might explode in the laptop.... it is from victoria. it is $96

Contact them and ask if it is causing any damage (you think of) or doesn't work if you can get a replacement... most people are kind enough to do so if they are a store.

Because if it fucks his laptop up with to much power going through, its going to be linked straight to that battery. Just because it has a sticker saying "Runs XVolts", it doesnt mean it is.

meh, the cmputer has tolerances, assuming you get the same voltage there would be no issues. Buying OEM battery is newfag stuff .
