While guys think about sex more often than girls, girls desire it just as much as guys do. Society, however, has conditioned males to constantly be thinking about it, and as such girls are turned off by guys who follow this condition. The perfect society would be one where sexual imagery doesn't just favour us guys, and promotes sexual interest among the female population as well. In my opinion.

On the other hand, I could be totally wrong. One of the reasons I don't belive in a god is because I can't come up with a plausible enough answer for this question: why would he have deliberately made men think about sex more than women, an axiom which leads to an increased risk of sexual crime? I think the primary reason for things like rape and harrassment is because men are programmed through social decoration to want sex more.

This is why I think women hide it, and I enjoy girls who don't, as it should be seen as an expression of their true inhibitions and desires which I believe all females share in common with men.

thoughts?

I think it differs for every individual. However, using a more generic viewpoint, women do 'desire' it less than men.

Uncovered meat is the answer. Less uncovered meat.

I appreciate your religious viewpoint, but I was looking for an answer based on the attitudes which comes with social psychology.

Cool to hear your opinion though, thanks :)

How the hell did that statement indicate a religious viewpoint?
Just because Mr Hilaly used it, it doesn't make it credible, and we all perfectly know he's a nut, who becomes exponentially nuttier over time.
Anyway, you are being exorbitantly inquisitive over a topic that has already been extensively researched with scientific findings. Google it. Generally, men are hornier than women. End.

Now, i'm going to ask politely, without calling you a fool for missing the entire point of my creating this thread.

Why? why is this the case? It seems to me an unresolved phenomenon. Don't tell me to just go google something when you haven't even answered my question; it's slightly arrogant.

Yes, but i'm talking about the entire population of males and females here. Not just the ones who were born perverted, act perverted and die perverted due to some brain dysfunction.

You did not ask a specific question tard, you asked:

thoughts?
I thought some, delved some, and told you some if you were bothered to read my posts, then I conveniently suggested that you utilise google.

It's your theory, you go work it out Plato.

Well then could I just applaud you on the 'thoughts' you offered. Perhaps you should consider aeronautical engineering, and when asked 'thoughts' suggest your colleagues construct the shuttle using google.
I take it now you're not going to offer any input as to the question of why males and females think this way?

Testosterone; the horny chemical. Males have an excess, females don't.

Need I continue?

And I offer you ONE weak-handed, numbed clap with leprosy infected hands for asking a straight-forward and specified question. To that, I answer:
- NO
- SCIENCE

Thankyou for saying, in the way the perfect asshole would, 'i disagree with your idea of social conditioning, I believe science explains your query.'
And, yet again, I appreciate your attempt to brighten the forum with your wonderful personality!

:haha:

Well, well, well, it's come to argument against the man now? (In my case woman).
You're obviously a dipshit who believes science is only subject to beakers, elements and hydrogen bonding. Science means the fact of knowing something; the knowledge or understanding of a truth. Case in point, the facts already have been established through scientific research (the actual beaker kind of science, not the sociological kind, sir), so stop infiltrating cyberspace with your unnessecary threads.

In a nutshell, there has been extensive research done on the mother fudging topic. bayz.

This kind of supports my idea about social conditioning. Men who have been exposes to more sexual imagery, I think, would tend to want it more, whereas women seem to be able to 'block it out' and are note influenced by any factors other than their own oestrogen.

What you're doing, ma'm, (I apologise for the lack of gender understanding there, haha) is predicating your argument on the idea that Science is the only determinant in the behavioural characteristics of men and women. And that 'Science', which I don't attribute only to beakers and elements, you idiot, isn't fully understanding of my argument. Hear me out here.

I'm talking more about social science, and i'd wager so are you, to an extent. But does external sexual imagery have a greater impacts on male minds? is there science to prove that men want to want sex more... if you catch my drift?

Isn't that pretty much what I said?
You respond to this like a normal functioning human being:

Men as a whole have a greater sexual drive, but it'll vary from person to person (obviously)
When I said almost the same thing earlier on

I think it differs for every individual. However, using a more generic viewpoint, women do 'desire' it less than men.

Perhaps arguing makes chicks horny.

Blows my theories out of the water.

Yet you fail to give me any reason, other than 'SCIENCE' or 'GOOGLE' which explains why men seem to grab hold of sexual influence which comes their way.
