judging by the posters up everywhere saying there's an academic and general staff strike happening on wednesday, i'd say there's an actual strike on. (although that's not to say it won't be cancelled at the last minute like the last one was.)so is there or isn't there an actual strike on? wheres the info for it etc?

Why would she not be paid for it given her employer is the university and not the union?so...most staff?
our chemistry lecturer is still giving our lecture, but she's not being paid for it (she's part of the union)
