No need to stress. Its worthless if you're planning on doing senior years. If you want to do well, I suggest revise topics you've studied at school. Simple=)

I got Band 5 (87) in the English School Certificate, and the school prevent me from doing English advanced. So yes, the School Certificate is important for some students.

barely anyone in my school got band 6 in english, yet all of em are doing english ext1, and are awrite at it.

^ wtf? you're not allowed to do Standard at our school unless you absolutely fail yr 11 advanced.

Our trials are next week. We only found that out today. Just goes to show how much our school cares about the SC :]

don't stress out too much people... believe me.. this is not worth it.. I used to not take the advice of senior students (11/12) when I was in yr 10 and studied for SC and wasted so much effort in it, which i regret :mad1:

Maddie dont worry, you will do fine, there is a movie u should watch, it may be about a celebrity kid going to normal school, but he has testiphobia (i think that how it spelt) it means he goes in to do a exam, and he freezes, and cant do it.. he gets sick and everything.

Because he sings, he just imagines its a concert, and he gets through the test.

and does anyone know where i can find REALLY good study notes..

haha thanks heaps did my english + science trials today
and actually did pretty well, but i didnt go into an exam room
i have a broken finger, and had to have a writer haha

Has the syllabus and topics covered in the School Certificate in mathematics, english, science, history, geography and awkwardly commerce. No computer section though probably since its general questions.
