It was ok but if you knew the backstory behind Bungie creating the thrid installment and why, you would see why its overrated and slightly retarded.

Microsoft was getting the push from fans and other annoying arseholes to get halo 2 out before release. Bungie, originally penning the story arc as a two game story (due to the huge success of the H:CE) were put under pressure from microsoft (their sponsors) and got the game out way to early, as can bee seen by the shitty button glitches everyone exploited. Bungie had to leave the last 3 missions out of H2, which would of finished the story arc, and because of this had to stretch this missions into a whole new campaign.

Once halo 3 was pumped out they immediately separated from MS and started developing Reach and H:Wars. Wars was a flop and Reach, by the sounds of it will bring the story arc back to the beginning where the Spartan II's were conceived.

ODST is a standalone game funded by MS to gain more money along with Halo Legends. Bungie is making sure the game is ready and true to the series (unlike wars) and that Halo Legends isnt a complete fuck up.

i remember when d/p came out in japan, i saw these pics on some blog, ppl queueing up outside buildings, along streets, 100s of metres of ppl queueing up to buy the game.

The new pokemon games suck... They have added too many god dam pokemon.. And all the new pokemon mostly look crap.. Im a fan of pokemon but i reckon the new games in the past couple of years are crap... Hopefully they fix that

You can't say you didn't see the games going in this direction. The original games (Blue, Red and Yellow) had the original 151 pokemon, a decent number. Then Gold, Silver and Crystal jacked the number up. Then Ruby and Sapphire came along and jacked the number up again. See a pattern here?

Stupid is right; I mean, when they just recycle names from games they've already released and tack a word or to on to it, it doesn't exactly scream "original", does it?
They're lucky they're doing this with their own games or they could get hit with copyright infringement big time!

Heres another thing, the pokemon games these days are more based for children... When actually more people over the age of 16+ play these games then children....... They should really base it more for older ages...

Heres another thing, the pokemon games these days are more based for children... When actually more people over the age of 16+ play these games then children....... They should really base it more for older ages...

Well, you can only milk a storyline so much before it runs bone dry and people start looking for something new or different, hence why you see games like Halo Wars and Halo: ODST on the shelves these days....that's the developers trying new directions to keep the Halo franchise fresh and the fanbase interested.
