my father woke me at 9:00 AM AEST
and I turned around and went back to sleep
and awoke again at 10:00 AM AEST

mildly pleased with that since i hate waking after 10:00 AM AEST

Buying CDs isn't postmodern.
that would be because im so postmodern im positively archaic

They took out the hmv there didn't they? :(

City/glebe's not that far a walk anyway.
yeah. one of the reasons i almost resent the trend towards ipods and mp3s in general. ended up going city but took 5 different stores to find what i was looking for :(

Woot. Back from holidays. Would highly recommend driving along the New England highway if anyone happens to be up that way, particularly the area around Glen Innes. Very European-like.

usyd has been criticised for having only a small amount of people from low socioeconomic backgrounds into the uni. a griffith university study has revealed that only 6.4% of usyd students are from a low socioeconomic background. in response to this, usyd has funded $2mil, in conjunction with the money funded by the federal Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations to create a program called "Compass - find your way to higher education" which aims to encourage students from poorer schools to aim for higher education. the federal government has set a goal of having at least 20% of students from low socioeconomic backgrounds by the year 2020, giving financial incentives to unis that let more students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds in.

I was most unimpressed.
Also, Virgin on George Street >: (
JB HI FI was good though.
for the range of music and the fact that we actually found some stuff at JB, i guess it's 'good', HOWEVER, i rather disagree with its placement of certain music into genres >: ( anberlin is NOT emo

Hahahaha
You were so shitty about that.
I laughed quite a bit.
It was in the punk/emo section... Haven't heard Anberlin, so can't really comment on how appropriate that is.
