Hello guys,
I did a topic test on Chemical Monitoring and Management and a question came up to name this compound:
CH2-CH2-CH=CH-CH3
|
CH3
I named it 2-Hexene but the teacher said its 1-Methyl-3-Pentene. But I know her answer is wrong, 4 science teachers have backed me up but she won't accept it.
How can I prove her wrong? ( I need the mark so I can come 1st)
Cheers,
Ami
