INTRO - introduce a few family issues (3-4) depending on your word limit.
Body 1 - Issue 1: e.g. DOmestic violence. a) Talk about domestic violence b) Talk about what the law offers in response to domestic violence c) Is it effective? (when looking atr effectiveness you can add in criteria such as access e.g. Does women have the access to domestic violence remedies etc. Other common criterias often break up into 2 categories they are:

Effectiveness for individual e.g. access, equality etc.
Effectiveness for community e.g. resource efficiency law as a reflection of community's standards

Body 2: Issue 2 Repeat same format
Body 3: " "

Conclusion: Sum up and list the effective components and also mention which areas need reform due to its ineffectiveness.

what are the family crises omg:(
anything that causes disruptions to family units
can be:
divorces = effectiveness of no fault clause, mediation (ADR), fed magistrate court etc
child maintenance - not paying
rights of parent over child in surrogacy cases - very good if u need to put modern example in for like qs on change
