quick question:

doing my journal for mgmt dynamics, and im quoting a few online SMH articles.
only problem is, all the intext referencing for those articles looks like this

(SMH Online, 2008)

so the markers cannot tell which article is which.

is there a way that you reference something like that?
how?

thanks :)

Theres a referencing guide avialable from the UWS library website. Its really useful I use it all the time with assessments. This is from the referencing guide, you still need to do a list of references at the end of the journals btw.

Using direct quotes:
    1. [FONT=Arial,Arial]
[*]Gardner and Palmer said, ‘Authoritarians also saw trade unions as a useful instrument…’ (1997, p. 87).
[*]‘Authoritarians also saw trade unions as a useful instrument…’ (Gardner & Palmer 1997, p. 87).

Hope that helps...

You've probably done the assignment by now, but FYI for future -

Where you have more than one citation that has the same author and year, you add a letter on the end so eg you'd have (SMH, 2008a); (SMH, 2008b) etc

In your reference list/bibliography you would put the same letter after the date as per your in text references.
