I reaaallly want 97, but id be amazed with 98.45 or 99.55...is that even remotely possible?

i go to a school ranked in the top 3 and we only get our marks and averages, we dont recieve ranks at our school! which is complete catpiss.

My MARKS so far are as follows (approx):

Modern History 93/100 avg 82 =]

History Extension 44/50 avg 43 =S

Ext1 eng 50/50 avg 39 =]

Ext2 eng 43/50 avg 43 =|

Advanced eng 83/50 avg 82 =S

3u maths 33/50 avg 38 =[

2u maths 72/100 avg 85. =[

Chemistry 70/100 avg 80 =[

how does it look?

thanks so much

hard to tell how your marks will translate into hsc marks. but I'd say that you would have to bring your maths and chem subjects up a bit, perhaps to the average, to have a good shot at 97.

yeh SAM said 89...which is lol. im not saying it wont happen...but my year advisor keeps saying that the "avg uai" for our school is consitently between 97.5 - 98.5 i know its probably innaccurate and based on lies and bs... but considering im above average for most of my units i should hope that scaling works in my favour? but i dont do 4u maths!

damn hsc ><

you're probably being sarcastic, but tests in the higher order selective/agriculture schools are far harder than those of your local non-selective school.

Put more work into maths and chem, even if that means doing less for subjects like English ext and Modern. It's better to have all subjects slightly above average than a couple quite above average and the rest not at all. Anything is achievable at this point, especially since your in the third ranked school.

I didn't estimate your UAI because an average does not provide an adequate replacement for a rank. It's quite a stupid rule, not letting you know your ranks.

pick up a Ruse paper, and pick up a paper from a school ranked near the 500's.

There's the difference.
ruse papers aren't hard, per se
anyone have any ~500th ranked school papers for me to see then?

hahaha shut up idiot.

try a sydney boys paper compared to a ruse paper, sydney boys is lower ranked but their papers are way harder.
