According to Wikipedia, which as we know, isn't always the most reliable source, but it says V has been around since 1997, so yes, it's been around at least 10 years to conduct such a study.

I doubt it's very good for you, but neither is soft drink itself, nor is coffee, so I think we're all dead anyway.
If you drink two or three every four days, you're not nearly as close to keeling over as I am.
