What's your back-up if you don't get into med?

If you are unable to do medicine (undergrad or postgrad) what would you do instead?

I'd do Physiotherapy or Nursing, maybe.

I picked something I could have heaps of fun in and makes lots of moolah. That way, im settled and have satisfied my other urges before picking a proper degree.

Retrospectively, my backup was going to be mathematics/philosophy/neuroscience at USyd.

paramedic yeaaaaaaaaaaaa, would be the best job but they've a medical requirement and unfortunately i am partially blind... dont wanna wasteeeee my time

I'd probably do Biomedical Engineering, Nursing or Advance Science (pure mathematics) ^ ^ but yeah

i would have done something i liked and also had an interest in; e.g. actuarial studies

If I don't get into grad med, I'll probably go do another undergrad degree in criminology and focus on forensics. Lost interest in a career in research for the moment.

That or genetic counseling.
