we are prepared to put high velocity 5.56mm bits of copper coated lead through people but not pretend to drown them to get information out of them. fuch i support its use just to demoralise and humiliate them, if they are my enemy.

Useless on murderers and secular terrorists, as they have only limited aims and most aren't involved in suicidal networks of millenial warmongerers.
Useless on religious terrorists, as they believe the more they suffer the more they are rewarded after death.

I am talking about people who have been found guilty. Torture is useless at getting information out of people, but it is an excellent source of retribution.
