Gee... Wonder what I'll say...

Nah....

Dragonball Z is the Greatest Anime ever, It's bypassed the Anime sub genre and is a cultural icon, seriously Dragonball Z is the biggest and greatest Anime that it has become a part of mainstream pop culture.

You could ask pretty much anyone on Earth if they knew what Dragonball Z was and they could tell you in a flash it’s a Classic Anime about a fighter dude name Goku who saves the Universe from Bad guys, No other Anime has and probably ever will have as much cultural significance or World wide acclaim as Dragonball Z...

None

bleach anime is boring; Bleach manga is much better.

- Code Geass
- toradora
- Macross Frontier
and the epic;
- Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann!

lol at dragonballz.
fight. talk. fight. talk. fight. talk
well kids can watch it and still enjoy it while their brains are developing.

but really anime that isnt too long (approx less than 50 eps or so) can maintain a good story within each episode is good enough.
(compare to fucking one piece and naruto shitpudden and its filler eps)
those with epic plot twists and multiple elements like code geass and death note are good.

code geass is now the new popular anime and i agree.

also,
didnt i own a social group here on bos named [Anime] ?

Actualy wait, I'm pretty sure Poke'mon would count, even though it was a Game before the Anime...

But seriously, Dragonball Z, Biggest and most Successful anime and overall popularity speaks volumes over critical acclaim.

May not be the most Deep or thought provoking but it still sets the benchmark

OP has the right idea. Neon Genesis Evangelion was the single greatest anime of all time.
And it's being remade. :spzz:

k

remade?
omfg how?
4 new movies -> Rebuild of Evangelion, retelling of the whole story (with alternate ending and slightly altered plot/sequence of events).
First movie came out, pretty much exactly the same except better graphics and a bit of difference, mainly at the end of the movie. It covers the series up 'til 4th angel? Right before Asuka appears.
Biggest difference is that Kaoru appears on the moon at the end of the movie, with a giant Lilith pinned down next to him and he says "Can't wait 'til I meet the third again".
