Anyone here listen to 90s emo along the lines of mineral, sunny day real estate, american football, cap'n jazz (and various kinsella bands), the promise ring etc?
Would be interesting to see who has decent music taste because it seems that no one of this generation is into it?

Dude, The Promise Ring was mentioned in Bring It On Again.

I thought it was a fictional band...

That isn't directly bagging out your *personal* music taste. I just said that it seems like no one is into that particular genre.

Whatever man. All you're trying to do is make a pathetic attempt at internet forum trolling. Nice try.

today i made you a mix tape and i decorated it with lots of stars, it had all our favorite songs
there was jawbreaker and mineral, built to spill and the descendents
hell i even put one of ours on it
do you wanna be my girl, cause you really rock my world, and you always make me smile
but what will you do when i'm washed up like motley crue, will you still love me when i sell out?

I don't think Weezer would count...

I'll listen to a bit of Texas Is The Reason every now and again. And Pg. 99 who you could say are an offshoot of the genre. Been trying to get of hold of some Sunny Day Real Estate recently as well.
