Liiikee... I find most of my classes so boring that I end up falling asleep and sometimes wasting class time ... time that I end up using up at home instead.

Seems like even if I get 10 hours sleep per day for a whole week, it still sorta happens.

And especially in the afternoon after school, I could just fall asleep instantly the moment I lie in bed.

How does everyone do it? o_o"

i would go home each afternoon and sleep for an hour before i did any work. this would allow me to be more productive when i worked and i could stay up later.

If you feel really tired and lethargic all the time, even when you've had plenty of sleep, its possible you could have an iron deficiency, check it out with a doctor.

the probable truth:

you are not eating right and/or not getting enough exercise . keeep away from the fast food and sheet . drink lots of water.

half arsed solution that works just as well:

your teachers are useless and boring as shit so i dont blame you for not retaining consciousness. besides, by the way you make it out, you probably aren't going to learn anything important off them anyways. ignore them or jig class and do some self study in a moer fun environment. workeed for me =D

Do something useful in class, don't just bludge around. It's amazing how much actually doing work keeps you awake.

And I can't find No-Doz anywhere. :\

Keep your life balanced [although its almost impossible with the truckload of work dumped on our backs]. Don't whore all night and all day with your head buried in textbooks or writing notes.

Having said that, I fall into microsleeps during classtime. Makes me feel guilty =(

The way to go if all else fails: CAFFEINE BINGE :D

(Load up on V, Mother, Coffee, Tea, Coke and Red Bull)

But don't over consume. I heard Red Bull kills.

no-doz - tablets that keep you "awake"
its apparently equivalent to a cup of coffee
but whatever
and really? i picked up a pack today for about $5. you get 24 in a pack; you just have to look a bit hard, trust me they should be there. if not check big w or a chemist

no-doz is usually in the panadol/nurofen/band-aid crap area.

This time last year whenever I was about to lose consciousness I always imagined Arnold Schwarzenegger yelling at me that: "You have a mission!" a million times, works every time

The mission was to do well in the HSC of course

Why should students have to resort to "no-doz"???

I don't think you should consider taking no-doz unless you are like really desperate. :jaw:

Yeah im the same I can have a great 8-10 hrs sleep and still I get tired in class and sometimes fall asleep in them. When I get home I lay on my bed and just fall asleep. I don't know why,but it really sucks
