I went surprisingly well first time round, but now I'm kinda expecting myself to go better, which will be hard.

MX2 - =8/35, but its hard to tell with MX2 how well I am going, cos that rank seems good but I'm competing against gun maths students state-wide.

Eng Adv - =10/150, a significant improvement from 133 in Yr 11

Eco - =8/45, which I'm dissapointed with cos I know I'm better than that, but I guess that rank is fairly lucky seeing as I dedicated most of my time to the other assessments and I crammed the morning before Eco

Legal - =1/38, I think that's right, and I'm very happy with it cos lots of effort went into it.

Oh, yeah you're right. Even though there isn't 120 of us :bomb: But probably close to it :spzz:
lol it was an estimate, theres 150 of us altogether, minus about 20 ppl doing SOR2 and around 10 ppl doing catholic studies, hence theres about 120 ppl doing SOR1 :)

*sigh* the bitch thing about hsc is that whenever i have an assessment i ALWAYS stress out about the marks i get. So far, my marks are alright, wouldnt consider great because all these other peeps got the same as me so:
business studies i got : 34/35
eco: 18/20
SOR2U: 27/30

-mind you, thoses are great marks, but i dont feel a thing cos like 5 peope got 35/35 for business, so nothing great that i got 34, cos im already ranked bloody 6th. -_-

I still got legal and maths hahah FAILLLLL.

First round assessments

How did you go in the first round of HSC assessments?
What were they? What were your marks?

I'll start,

English Advanced: 'Belonging' speech (related texts), 9/15

Mathematics: Locus + Geometrical Applications of Calculus exam, 32/40

Chemistry: Current chemistry related issue report/presentation, 44/50

Physics: we had a stupid teacher, who marked the task very poorly. the situation only got worse when she misplaced all our task marks. so now, the original task weighting is going to be evenly split up and added to the other assessments throughout the year.

Legal Studies: Crime + domestic/international legislation report, 35/40

Re: First round assessments

I got everything back except for Legal Studies and i have yet to receive an assessment for English Extension 1.

I did fine so far apart from maths which i got like 52% with a rank of top half of the class. Chuh. 100% for Society & Culture + History Extension. 90% for Modern History.

I am currently composing a story for English Extension 1 as it is worth 30% !!
