Hey all,
im doing this year, extension english and maths.

Im the only person in 250 doing that lol

freaks me out a bit lol

anyone else doing this?

Its quite common really- though it depends on what school you're at. At my school last year (including myself) I think there was between 5-10 doing it (out of 130-50 approx).

It's quite common at selective schools I hear. At my school, there'd be at least 120 out of around 200 doing both extensions.

im doin both, finding it interesting does give u a killer workload but advantage is Study Period

yeh the workload... is alot
esp. for maths like 4 exercises a day
but extention english is alot of fun, were studying a play called Medea.

don't even worry about it at my school (Baulko) there's only about 25 people NOT doing both ext!

i did both in prelim but then i dropped ext. english.
only 2 people started off doing both at my school, then one dropped ext. maths in like the first term of prelim. now theres noone doing both for the hsc lol.

hey im just from a country school theres bout 150 in our year and 7 of us doing both extensions
which is a heaps good number i find =] s
o much beta then classes of 35!!!!!

dw bout it!!! the work is shitloads already but u should hav a line off wouldnt u?

cos of it i get 11 frees a fortnight its awesome and im managin to keep up the workload!!!!!

Not much work from ext english yet, but the worst is yet to come i suppose.

the ppl on this site amaze me. I'm only doing maths ext, but i'm thinking about starting english ext and the prospect is daunting.

It takes me forever to write essays and i stress heaps over them, and coupled with how much i procrastinate i really don't get much done anyway. - Somehow i do well anyway.

At my school we have 5 ppl in English Ext and 20 ppl in Maths Ext. and if i join English EXT i'll be the only person with 14 units. creeps the hell out of me.
