The kazaa lite codec pack is great, all the codecs you will ever need (DivX, XVid, AC3, Indeo etc) in 10 megs:

I suggest you download the Koepi XVID Codec. It is the most reliable XVID Codec out there. And if you want, you can use the XVID Codec to change the FourCC headers so that a divx player and play the file, without the XVID Codec if you wish.
